ABOUT

Carolina Sephra Reyes is a metalsmith and budding herbalist living in her hometown of San Miguel, New Mexico. Her work revolves around the fusion of metal and plants, and the cultivation of both the fields of metalsmithing and herbalism.

She recieved her BFA from New Mexico State University in 2015, and her MFA from East Carolina University in 2019. During her time at ECU, Carolina co-chaired the 2019 ECU Metals Symposium and worked as a gallery director for the Mendenhall Student Center Gallery.

Her work and research continue along the lines of Herbalism, using herbs as medicine, and using her work as teaching points for herself and her audience.
